Seychelles preparada para receber o Mundial Junior Águas Abertas 2020

A Agência noticiosa das Seychelles anunciou que vão receber o Campeonato do Mundial Junior de Águas Abertas 2020, sendo mesmo o primeiro país africano a receber uma competição desta dimensão. A última edição de 2018, realizou-se em Eilat, Israel.

As Ilhas Seychelles já recebeu recentemente, etapas do Circuito Mundial de Águas Abertas, tendo ficado este ano de fora.

“the event will serve as an inspiration for our young swimmers as it will offer them the chance of a lifetime to swim in a world championship”, referiu David Vidot, Presidente da Seychelles Swimming Association, à Seychelles News Agency.

“At the moment, we are hoping to host it back to back with the world cup series as both events will be hosted at Beau Vallon. This will allow us to make the most out of our resources,” acescentou Vidot.
